Precise Fire’s latest Fire indicator Panels (FIP) upgrade project of 18 FIPs for sites across the City of Sydney is far from a simple swap out – swap in exercise.
Every existing fire panel program is studied to create a current fire control matrix of all of the current control statements, including the fire fan controls where required. Then Panel programming is completed for each new Siemens Cerberus Pro fire panel, including all FFCP controls programming and hardware required to control the entire fire system.
Once the panel is installed, a low level temporary interface is provided between the old and the new systems for the addressable FIP’s, allowing for control functions to be mimicked at each panel.
This includes the fire brigade ASE module, the EWIS interfaces and FFCP control.
Then each system is tested and commissioned to ensure 100% operation by an experienced fire commissioning engineer.
