According to Heart Research Australia, one Australian every ten minutes (or 54,000 Australians every year) suffer a heart attack, and over 120,000 people a year suffer a serious workplace injury*. So it’s vital that teams in the workplace have the confidence to provide first aid until help arrives to improve the chances of recovery and the prevention of permanent disability.
Pinnacle Safety and Training recently took our team through the latest first aid methods, Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation ( CPR) and the use of defibrillators.
Not only does this training create a safer and well prepared workplace, but it also gives our people the skills to provide immediate first aid to their family, friends and the wider community.
Thanks to everyone in the team for helping to provide our community with an effective first response.
